The life of every human being including the nature, now exists in the context of crisis and chaos. The context in which we live is dominated by many evil forces, violence, acts of injustice, conflicts, civil wars, natural disasters etc. God’s intention of creating the world is to have harmony between the creation and the creator, God, among the people of all walks of life, and among human and nature.  However, the purpose of creating harmonious relationships with all creations and with the divine has been tarnished and lost from time to time.

In this context, the ministry of seeking, striving, working towards Healing becomes the main goal of our centre. The focus is not just healing as a part of the life, but as a whole. This includes bodily wholeness, emotional well-being, mental functioning and spiritual awareness. In the context in which we work this also includes the process of reconciling broken human relationships and the development of social justice, creating awareness among people in crisis situations.

Our work among the people is like a kaleidoscope.   Though we try our best to fulfill the task of helping our clients and ourselves, pursuing toward the Wholistic Healing, we are not always one hundred percent successful. The reason is the depth of the loss, psychic wounds, and economic problems, restricted areas of our work and the lack of financial aid to meet the needs. Lack of qualified psychiatrists has become a big issue as we are unable to refer clients to.

With the fundamental training for the field workers, they do a marvelous job in making house visits in the remote areas to find the ‘lost sheep’. Through the diploma course we produce good counselors to handle the traumatized clients. Work among children is targeted to create a strong balanced and a promising future generation. Caring for the amputees is another important ministry. Though some of the NGOs are involved in helping, the need is great.

Our prayer is that of what Jesus said in Luke 10:02    “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field”.
